• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; alternatively, relevant professional training or certification in procurement is also acceptable
• Several years of experience in procurement. Preferably in the food or beverage industry, with a focus on ingredient sourcing and supplier management
• Strong negotiation skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail, with proficiency in financial analysis, contract negotiation, and risk management
• In-depth knowledge procurement best practices, quality assurance standards and familiarity with food safety regulations and sustainability practices
• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify innovation opportunities, and focus on cost savings and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders and adaptability in managing supply chain disruptions
